Good morning beautiful Sangha, and welcome to the start of summer!
It’s a busy time: holidays coming, sun shining, schools breaking up in a few weeks now! There’s lots going on at Sangha too, and I’ve been very busy preparing for our Ashtanga Yoga adventure, which will begin in early July.
All this talk of adventures has caused me to reflect a lot on my own adventures through life, and the adventures we try to inspire and facilitate here in our beautiful community. As the poet Mary Oliver wrote, “what will you do with your one wild and beautiful life?”
I’ve spent almost a lifetime now cultivating a yoga practice and discovering alternative therapies, yet there is always more to learn. A new posture, way of moving, breathing, or a new treatment that can create ease, calm and empowerment in the lives of our community.
Our carefully curated mix of yoga, Pilates, therapies, sound baths and more, enable you to go on an exploration of your own whenever you like. In the challenging and beautiful chaos of life, never forget to make time for serenity, space to breathe, rest and reset.
You accomplish so much more, and with joy, when you are in flow, and we want to help you do that. Even if you have an established practice of yoga, or anything else, hold a natural curiosity about different yoga styles, alternative therapies, and different ways of moving. There are always new things to discover; so, when we get tired, injured, or if something just isn’t feeling like it used to, use it as a gentle invitation to pause, reach out, or try something new. It could be the beginning of a new exciting chapter and adventure for you.
Our community of teachers and therapists are here for that and can’t wait to welcome you to our sacred escape, whether you’re a regular visitor or haven’t stepped in for a while. Where will your next adventure take you?
