This hour and a half led class follows the traditional sequence of the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, guided by the Tim from beginning to end.
The practice links breath with movement in a steady, rhythmic flow, creating a moving meditation that builds strength, flexibility and focus. You’ll be guided through each posture in sequence, with clear instruction and a consistent pace throughout.
Practising together in a group setting creates a shared energy and sense of collective focus, supporting you to stay present with the breath and movement.
Options and variations will be offered throughout, and you’re always encouraged to listen to your body and take rest when needed.
Practising in this way can feel both grounding and energising – a chance to deepen your practice, build discipline, and reconnect with the rhythm of breath.
Everyone is welcome.

Join us every Sunday for a class designed to elevate your practice. Whether you’re new to Ashtanga or a seasoned student, this session offers time to explore postures, transitions, breath, and alignment in more detail.
Each week focuses on specific elements of the practice, helping you build strength, clarity, and confidence on the mat. It’s the perfect way to end your weekend with intention and start the week grounded and inspired.

Join Yvette at Yoga Sangha in Cheadle or on Zoom every month for a little bit of time out just for you.
When we take time to meditate we bring long lasting health benefits into our lives, add that to the beautiful practice of yoga nidra and we find ourselves with the perfect solution for lowering stress and anxiety levels and re-connecting within.
During this session you will be guided through a meditation practice followed by a deep yoga nidra relaxation. In the cosy studio at Yoga Sangha in Cheadle – we do suggest you bring an extra pillow and blanket for even more comfort. On Zoom you can sit and then lie down in bed or in a cosy space of your own. Either way, the journey of meditation and relaxation will bring you to a calm place and a wonderful nights sleep. Absolutely no experience is required, everyone is very welcome.
We’re here to help you find the right place to begin, whatever your experience or where you’re starting from.
