20–22 February 2026
We are so excited to welcome back the world-renowned Ashtanga Yoga teacher Lotta Sebzda to Yoga Sangha Manchester
2-022 February 2026
Lotta found Ashtanga yoga in the late 1990s and was immediately drawn to the practice, describing it as "coming home". Nearly three decades later, it remains at the heart of her life and teaching.
Lotta has spent almost 30 years immersed in the traditional Mysore-style practice, studying with the late Sri K Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath Jois. She now travels internationally, sharing the depth of experience, wisdom and insight gained through decades of dedicated practice.
Her own practice reflects the qualities she brings to her teaching – dedication, curiosity, warmth and a genuine love for the method. Alongside a busy teaching schedule, she balances practice with family life and is a proud mother of two adult children and grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren.
This weekend offers a chance to learn from a teacher whose depth of experience is matched by her warmth, generosity and love for the practice.
The practice felt like coming home.
Lotta Sebzda
Whether you are new to Ashtanga or have been practising for many years, Lotta creates a welcoming and inclusive space in which to deepen your understanding of the practice.
Throughout the weekend, she shares practical guidance, helpful insights and the small details that can transform the way we approach our practice. Expect plenty of individual support, opportunities to ask questions and a chance to explore the method with greater confidence and curiosity.
Lotta is also well known for her love of handstands and inversions. She enjoys helping students develop strength, balance and confidence upside down, whether they are complete beginners or already comfortable in their practice.
