A welcoming team of teachers, each with their own approach
Each teacher brings their own approach to the practice, creating a supportive and welcoming space at Yoga Sangha.
My yoga journey began many many years ago when I rolled out my mat for the first time in an Ashtanga class. Ashtanga is still my ‘go to’ practice. That first experience created the start of a journey that still continues today. I am continually inspired and mesmerised by the transformative and supportive nature of Yoga and Holistic therapies.
I now offer a range of yoga styles and mindfulness practices in class, private and corporate environment.
Classes include:
I have been practicing yoga for around 15 years, my journey started as the result of a serious road accident where I severely injured my back and spine. After months of physiotherapy it was recommended that I start Pilates and basic yoga in order to aid my recovery in the long term.
I started off learning the Iyenga yoga method and taking part in basic Vinyasa classes before being drawn to the Ashtanga style.
I am particularly focused on working with the breath and bandhas, thus making dynamic classes as ‘light’ and ‘floaty’ as possible, using yoga to defy gravity in an intuitive and safe way by mixing in calisthenics body weight control – the more effortless and controlled your practice is, the more relaxing and meditative it can be, and the less chance that you will develop an injury.
On the other hand, there is nothing more invigorating than practicing backbends, arm balances and handstands in a playful and childlike way… especially at the beach! I have had many yoga teachers over the years and I do not believe that any one person is ‘the’ expert or ‘guru’.
Every single yoga teacher, Pilates instructor or fitness trainer that you meet can give you new inspiration, knowledge, techniques and ideas that you can bring in to your physical practice, leading you to the realisation that YOU are your own teacher and everyone else is just there to guide you along the way and share their unique expertise, specialisms and experience.
I believe that self practice alongside regular led group classes is the ultimate way of improving your own personal yoga experience and achieving your fitness and wellbeing goals.

Certified in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Nada (Sound) Yoga, and with further training in Somatic Tantra, Embodied Yin, and Somatic Nidra, I guide practices that honour the whole self – blending mindful movement, breathwork, sound healing, and somatic awareness.
My classes are invitations to move intuitively, rest deeply, and reconnect with your body’s natural rhythms. Whether you’re seeking strength, softness, or stillness, you’ll find a supportive space where all bodies and levels are welcome, and variations are always offered to meet you where you are.
Sound plays a central role in my offerings, through immersive soundscapes and healing instruments, designed to support deep rest, and nervous system regulation. There is always a carefully held soundscape to carry the space and time – gently guiding you through each phase of the class, from grounding to integration.
Inspired by the grounding power of nature, my teaching is always evolving as I continue to explore new movement disciplines and healing modalities.
Come as you are – see which class resonates, and I’ll see you on the mat.

I first started practising yoga 12 years ago, it was my way of finding some calm after a busy week teaching in the classroom! I loved being guided in this ancient practice and the time and space it gave me to connect to myself and others.
In 2023 I went on a week-long yoga retreat, it was during this time that I experienced the benefit of a daily practice – I felt more present than ever before! This led me to embark on my journey to becoming a yoga teacher. I studied over the course of a year with Evolve Yoga Training, completing my 200 hours in December 2024. I learnt so much during this year, in particular the power of the breath to down regulate our nervous systems, helping us to shift our mood, to feel calmer and safer in our bodies.
My own practice has evolved over the years and now generally takes a much slower pace. It leaves me feeling grounded, more at ease in my mind and body and enables me to face the outer world with a calm, more present state of being.
My teaching approach is very breath focused, moving through postures with the breath to open the body, whilst finding strength and stability. I also love the unity that yoga brings to both ourselves and with others. I believe in building communities rooted in love and support and therefore aim to provide a space which feels nourishing and supportive where my students leave a class feeling lighter, more grounded, and connected to themselves and in turn, others.
New to yoga, not practised in a while, or a regular on the mat – all are welcome here.

I’m Anna, a yoga teacher and GP with a passion for holistic wellbeing.
My own yoga journey began as a way to find balance in the busyness of medicine, and over time it has become an integral and foundational aspect of my life. I trained at an Ashram in the foothills of the Himalayas near Rishikesh, where I immersed myself in the depth and stillness of traditional yoga philosophy and practice, which now guides the way I share yoga.
In my classes, I bring together mindful movement, breathwork, and stillness to create space for you to reconnect with yourself, slow down, and feel more at ease in your body and mind.
My hope is that each student leaves the mat feeling a little lighter, steadier, and more connected – both to themselves and to the world around them.

My journey into yoga began as a teenager after I picked up a book that was left on a table at home. Curiosity led me to give it a go and I discovered a totally different world from the one I was growing up in. After discovering a copy of ‘The Meditators Handbook’ (Fontana, 1992), I began an exploration of meditation practices. With Yoga as the springboard, I experimented with Kung Fu, Chan Style Tai Chi, and hard-core endurance Zen Buddhist meditation practices. I haven’t always followed the best path, and my 20s and 30s were all about pushing myself to my physical and mental limits which just led to burnout and injuries. These days I am much kinder on my body and mind, and I have returned full circle to Yoga to restore balance.
What captivates me most about yoga is its holistic nature – an art that seamlessly weaves together movement, breath, and mindfulness. Being hyperactive by nature, it allows me to find stillness in movement. Through this practice, I’ve come to appreciate yoga as a powerful vehicle for enhancing mobility, building strength, and calming an unruly mind. As I move into my 50s, I see more than ever the benefits yoga can bring to improving our quality of life as we age. It’s never too late to start yoga!
As well as building towards peak postures I like to include breathwork and finish with deep relaxation. My classes are practical and adapted to the needs of all levels of physical ability – yoga is not just for the young and bendy! Join me in embracing yoga as a tool for self-discovery and well-being, making it an integral part of your own journey towards a balanced and healthy life.

Hi, I’m Lucy. I came to my first yoga class over 20 years ago. Regular practice helps me to balance my mind and gives me an accepting and positive outlook on life. I’ve practised with many wonderful teachers and have been influenced by them all. I trained to teach yoga because I wanted other people to share the joy of yoga practice and the benefits that it brings. I completed my 200 hours teacher training with Evolve Yoga training and completed 40 hours Breathwork and Pranayama training in 2024. I have practiced many different styles including Iyengar, Rocket, Yin, Vinyasa Flow, and Hot Bikram-style yoga.
The classes that I teach are inspired by the Ashtanga series, but I teach slow movements with an emphasis on linking movement with the breath. The pace is gentle, offering modifications and props where appropriate, with a focus on balancing the body and mind. My classes are suitable for adults of all ages, and beginners are always very welcome. I am passionate about yoga and approach my teaching with patience, clarity and calmness.

My yoga journey began in my mid-twenties when I was burnt out from intensive exercise. My first class was Ashtanga and I was both amazed and confused by the shapes made. The benefits, both physical and mental were immediate and I loved it.
My classes are dynamic, playful and challenging. I offer a range of yoga styles and after my last teacher training in yoga for athletes I have enjoyed working with sports people in pre and rehab and believe yoga is a tool to support movement and sports and maintain mental and physical health throughout our lifespan.

I started practising yoga 20 years ago to try something new. I’d never have imagined then what yoga would give me! Through yoga, I found a space to calm my mind as well as make friends, learn from others and travel. It has been a gift and something I now love to share with others.
Having practiced many types of yoga and learnt from some great teachers, I’m drawn to dynamic practices which connect movement and breath. I was lucky enough to travel to India to complete Ashtanga and Vinyasa teacher training and I am certified in Mandala flow.
I bring a mix of these styles to my teaching and combine this with music to share fun and creative flows. My aim is to create supportive spaces in our busy days where we can focus on giving ourselves what we need, whether that’s space, energy, challenge or calm. You will find flow yoga that is accessible whether you’re new or have practiced yoga for some time.
