Myofascial Release Overview
Myofascial release is a revolutionary bodywork method that combines Western and Eastern treatment techniques. It's effective for relieving pain, improving movement, and restoring balance, helping you feel better overall. The treatment includes therapy exercises, myofascial release massage, and muscle testing to aid recovery from injuries and discomfort, focusing on how our bodies function as a whole.

At Yoga and Healing Cheshire, we help you understand the link between poor posture and pain. Using bodywork, support strategies, and movement coaching, we aim to help you regain freedom in your movements and enhance your life. Your treatment will start with a postural analysis, followed by specific physiotherapy exercises, muscle manipulation, and breathing techniques. Gentle manipulation targets tissue restrictions that cause pain or limit movement. You'll also receive guidance to continue your healing process at home. This treatment is suitable for professional athletes and those with injuries.

What to Expect at Your First 90-Minute Appointment:
- Undergo a postural assessment and muscle testing
- Experience myofascial manipulation massage
- Participate in movement and breathing exercises to improve mobility
- Get simple home workouts tailored for you

Thai Yoga Massage or Thai Oil Massage Overview

Either with or without Oil.
Thai yoga massage is a traditional healing practice that blends acupressure, Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga poses.
This ancient form of massage is a ritual between the therapist and client. During the session, the client is placed in various yoga-like positions, and the therapist applies pressure along specific lines in the body to relieve tension in tight muscles. This can involve deep, rhythmic pressure using hands or forearms. The massage involves continuous contact between the therapist and client, focusing on compressing, pulling, stretching, and rocking the body rather than rubbing muscles. Clients can choose to remain clothed during the treatment. Thai massage is particularly enjoyed by men and women with firm muscles who appreciate a strong pressure for deeper tension relief.

“Will was trained in Thai Massage during the years he spent living as a Buddhist in Thailand’s Monasteries. It doesn’t get any more authentic.”
